The Little Island Resort
Near Clonakilty on the coast of County Cork, The Little Island Resort, a former 1960s motel, has been brought back to life by sisters Aislinn O'Shea and Nicole O'Shea.

Today, The Little Island Resort has become an adults-only and dog-friendly boutique hotel.
With just six rooms, the property focuses on an intimate and modern atmosphere inspired by Palm Springs style, all set within unique architecture overlooking the ocean. You’ll find everything you need: fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV with Netflix and Spotify, and a minibar, everything you need for a relaxing stay without missing a single episode of your favourite series.

Guests can enjoy the Swim Club Deli, a laid-back seaside café serving barista-style coffee, cocktails and pizzas. Visitors can also borrow bikes and blankets, while picnic options are available for beach days and excursions.
Just 1.7 km away, discover the impressive Castlefreke Castle and more than 12 km of scenic trails running through woodland and along the coastline. Hiking, nature walks and even kayaking make it the perfect base to explore the beauty of West Cork.
On the sustainability side, the hotel’s roofing system uses solar energy and ambient air to produce hot water for the property. A unique project in Ireland that continues to evolve season after season.
