Luxury and Tranquillity at the Fairmont Royal Hotel Marrakech

I had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable week at the Fairmont Hotel in Marrakesh. The Fairmont Royal Hotel is located 30 minutes outside the medina and 40 minutes from the Airport. Upon arrival, we were instantly captivated by the stunning Moorish architecture and signature terracotta colours that define Marrakesh and in typical Moroccan custom, staff were friendly, kind and polite, nothing was too much trouble.

We booked to stay in Junior Suite with Garden view. Our incredible room featured a spacious layout with a walk-in wardrobe, offering ample space for our family. The room had it's own seating area , terrace because we were garden level the kids were free to play outside in the garden. The room was perfect and it's not often you can say that about a room.

Next morning I was excited for breakfast, not just because I'm a breakfast person but i had heard so much about the infamous" breakfast at the Fairmont" and it did not disappoint. Huge amount of variety that even my fussy kids could not complain. After breakfast my daughter would attend the wonderful kids club for their morning session whilst my husband and son enjoyed a round of golf, leaving me with some free time to explore the spa.

Dinner was exceptional, i honestly had 1 of the best tagines ever in Al Aïn restaurant. My kids were also very well catered for, especially as they are picky little eaters.

One of the highlights of our trip was a delightful morning spent at a the hotel farm. There the kids got to explore and interact with the resident rabbits, donkeys, hold a turtle and interact with the other farm residents. We all as a family got to participate in various activities and overall it was a fun morning where we created memories to last a lifetime.

The Fairmont royal was truly unforgettable. The opulent decor, the magnificent heated pool, exceptional service from staff, stunning views, incredible food, the luxurious spa, really every detail reflects what I come to expect from a five star establishment. A destination that is firmly on my to re visit list.
