The new season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! has just been released, and this time it features well-known celebrities from past seasons returning to take part again!

The 2026 series is currently being filmed in Kruger National Park, giving it a very different setting from the usual Australian jungle. The location is known for its wildlife and large open landscapes, which adds to the challenges and overall atmosphere of the show. It may not be in the outback but it still has all the critters and creatures we are used to seeing on the show...

To make it just as exciting to be a viewer, we have found some amazing places nearby where tourists can stay if they want to visit the area!

Lodges and hotels close to the park include:

  • Protea Hotel by Marriott Kruger Gate

Located near Skukuza, the hotel’s elevated walkways and treehouse inspired architecture offers guests the impression of living among the forest canopy.

  • Perry's Bridge Hollow Boutique Hotel

A boutique 4 star retreat hotel in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, South Africa, located within the vibrant Perry’s Bridge Trading Post near the Kruger National Park, offering contemporary, safari inspired accommodation.

  • Kruger Gate Hotel

A 4 star safari lodge located on the banks of the Sabie River at the Paul Kruger Gate, the western entrance to South Africa’s Kruger National Park offering direct access to one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations.
