Every summer, Galway transforms into a true cultural capital with the Galway International Arts Festival. This year, the festival returns for its 49th edition and once again promises to completely transform the city. Streets, squares and iconic venues become spaces for artistic expression.

On 17 July 2026, don’t miss the iconic Block Rockin' Beats at the Heineken® Big Top for an unforgettable night.

The Flaming Lips make a triumphant return to the Heineken® Big Top on 16 July 2026, for their only Irish show not to be missed. Known for their signature kaleidoscopic visuals, they have been listed among the “50 Bands to See Before You Die” by Q Magazine.
