Dublin Airport is highlighting a new limited-time Fast Track promotion, giving passengers the chance to book access to its priority security lane for €5 ahead of summer departures. The offer is available when customers use the code 5FAST at checkout on the Dublin Airport website or app, with bookings required by midnight on May 19 for travel up to June 30. The airport says the Fast Track service is designed to help passengers move through security more quickly, with access to a dedicated lane in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. With the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest set to take place in Vienna, new research from Wettfreunde.net has revealed just how much accommodation could cost fans heading to the Austrian capital for the event. Analysing more than 3,000 accommodation listings across Airbnb and Booking, the study found that a six-night stay in Vienna during Eurovision week, from May 11 to 17, 2026, comes in at an average of €1,501 for two people when both platforms are combined. Broken down by platform, the average cost stands at €1,061 on Airbnb and €1,656 on Booking. While that may sound steep, Vienna appears to be significantly less expensive than the host cities of recent years. According to Wettfreunde.net’s comparison, average accommodation costs during Eurovision week reached €6,024 in Basel in 2025 and €3,540 in Malmö in 2024. Compared to Vienna’s Booking average of €1,656, that means Basel was around 264% more expensive, while Malmö was approximately 114% higher. The Vienna data also shows that Eurovision week brings a noticeable uplift in prices, though the extent varies depending on platform. On Airbnb, accommodation costs during the contest are around 22.2% higher than the week before and 55.6% higher than the week after. On Booking, prices remain almost unchanged compared to the previous week, rising by just 0.2%, but jump by around 68.1% compared to the week after the contest. Across both platforms combined, the average cost during Eurovision week is 3.3% higher than the week before and 65.7% higher than the week after. The figures suggest that while some of the demand surge is already reflected in the lead-in to the event, prices ease considerably once Eurovision week ends. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE Audi Power of Four Trail Run (18 July) - Aspen and Snowmass Village The Audi Power of Four Trail Run is a premier endurance race series utilising the unique terrain of each of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. The event’s signature race is a challenging 50K Ultra that covers all four Aspen Snowmass mountains, utilising a mix of singletrack and dirt road. The event also offers a 25K race along the famed Government Trail covering Buttermilk and Snowmass mountains, as well as a 10K race starting at Elk Camp Restaurant and traversing across Snowmass down to Fanny Hill. Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race (25 July) - Snowmass Village The Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race features 25 miles of some of the best singletrack mountain bike trails in Colorado. Divisions include a 50-mile solo race (two loops), 25-mile solo race (one loop) and 50-mile teams of two, with each rider completing one 25-mile lap. The course covers 25 miles with 5,000ft of ascent across a diverse range of Snowmass Village’s best trails, from high desert sage meadows to dark, loamy forest. Snowmass Tree-O (7-8 August) - Snowmass Village The Colorado Brewery Running Series returns to Snowmass with a route commemorating the 150th anniversary of Colorado. In honour of this milestone, Snowmass Tree-O features 3.76k, 5k, and 10k trail runs starting and ending on the Snowmass Mall, totalling 18.76k in tribute to 1876. Runners can compete on Friday evening or Saturday morning, or both. Each runner receives a race bib, finisher medal and finisher beer, with a bonus 18.76k Challenge medal for completing all distances. NEW The Tough Draw Tour (21-22 August) - Snowmass Village The Tough Draw Tour brings a rider-first, bull riding-only event to Snowmass during its inaugural season. Featuring elite professional bull riders, the Snowmass stop serves as the final regular season event before the Tour Championship, with athletes competing for buckles, standings and a share of the $50,000 purse. Hosted at the Snowmass Rodeo Grounds, the event delivers premier competition and an authentic Western experience. Golden Leaf Half Marathon (26 September) - Aspen and Snowmass Village Recognised by Trail Runner magazine as one of “America’s 14 Most Scenic Races”, this iconic trail race from Snowmass to Aspen spans 13.1 miles with a 980ft climb and a 1,712ft descent. The event sells out annually.
